The health, safety and wellbeing of our customers and staff are our top priorities at this challenging time. With the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, we have therefore adopted new processes to keep our customers and staff safe at all times.
Visiting our showroom at Carn Industrial Estate
Only one family group will be admitted to our premises at a time. This should be no more than three people. We will adhere to the social distancing rule of two metres and we would respectfully ask all customers to do likewise. Our staff regularly use hand sanitiser and this is available for customers to use too. If you would prefer to remain in your vehicle, please call us on 028 3833 5771 and we can place products in your vehicle. We would prefer that all payments are made by credit or debit card at this time.
The Bann Mobility online shop
Our online shop is open (www.bannmobility.com/shop) and you can order products directly there. Products will be delivered to you by our delivery team, by courier or by Royal Mail. If our delivery team are delivering products to your home, we will not enter your property but will ring your doorbell, leave the product on your doorstep and stay at least two metres away while you bring the product into your home.
Repairs during COVID-19 pandemic
If you encounter a fault or issue with any of your products, your first step should be to call us on 028 3833 5771. We will try to identify the problem over the phone and may ask you to send us photographs. If possible, products (eg mobility scooters) could be brought to our premises for repair or servicing and we will ensure that the product is cleaned with anti-bacterial spray before returning to you.
When requesting a home visit
When you contact us to book a visit to your home (eg to service a stairlift), please advise us if anyone in your household has Covid-19 symptoms, is in quarantine, has been advised to arrange a test or is awaiting test results. We will arrange a specific day and time to visit your property and we will telephone you when we are outside. We will remind you about the two metre social distancing rule and explain that both of us will follow this guidance during the visit.
What we will do during a home visit
During a home visit, our staff will wear masks, wash hands regularly, use hand sanitiser and adhere to the two metre social distancing guidelines. We will bring our own towel to dry our hands and will clean any objects/surfaces we touch with anti-bacterial spray or wipes. At the end of our visit, we will make sure that we take away all personal belongings, tools and waste.
What customers should do during a home visit
Customers should maintain two metre social distancing from our staff as well as wearing a mask or mouth covering such as a scarf. They should also clean door handles before and after a visit as well as leaving doors open to any room that we may need access to eg bathroom or kitchen. Open the windows in any room that we may need access to and keep all family members and pets out of the room that we are working in.
